SILJA DESERT BOOT IN BLACK WAXED CALF SUEDE

Classic dessert boot in black waxed suede with a crepe sole. These boots are made in prime grade split suede from some of the finest European tanneries. This suede combined with our crepe sole, makes for a very comfortable boot, and will together with our leather or wool lining, give your feet the best treat. The choice of natural rubber is made to achieve the optimal comfort and is at the same time a benefit for our environment. The rubber sap is hand tapped from the rubber tree (Hevea Brasiliensis) and is 100% free from petrochemicals.

Fits true to size, however if you are between sizes, you should size down.

UPPER:

Waxed Calf Suede leather: The Waxed Calf Suede leather or shoes are made from, are high-quality suede that is protected for normal circumstances, but if you are planning to use the boots in rainy/snowy weather, we recommend using a heavier protection or a protective spray, but any after-production treatment will always be a compromise of the originally intended look. To refresh the look of the suede, we recommend using the rubber sides of a suede brush and we recommend using shoe rubber for spots.

BOTTOM:

Natural Rubber Crepe soles: The choice of natural rubber is made to achieve optimal comfort and is at the same time a benefit for our environment. The rubber sap is hand tapped from the rubber tree (Hevea Brasiliensis) and is 100% free from petrochemicals. The Natural Rubber Crepe soles are soft soles, which makes them very comfortable, but also makes them more fragile. The Natural Rubber Crepe reacts with hot and cold temperatures, so if they have gotten cold, the soles will stiffen up, and if they get hot, they will soften. We don't recommend exposing the Natural Rubber Crepe soles to petrochemicals or either to very hot temperatures.
